Lockwood Selector® 3782 Short Backset DX Digital Mortice Lock
The Lockwood Selector® 3782 Short Backset DX Digital Mortice Lock combines a 3782 Series cylinder mortice lock with compatible Lockwood 4800 or 5800 Series door furniture and a digital access pad to provide convenient keyless entry. Designed for commercial and architectural door applications, it offers a practical mechanical access control solution without the need for electrical wiring.
Access from the outside is provided by pressing the C button, entering the correct code and turning the external turnknob to unlock the door, with the code automatically cancelled once the turnknob is released. The factory-set four digit code can be changed to any four, five or six digit combination using the supplied code changing kit. An inbuilt clutching mechanism provides additional protection under forced attack by allowing the outside turnknob to rotate without operating or damaging the lock.
From the inside, the Lockwood Selector® 3782 Short Backset DX Digital Mortice Lock is operated by lever handle at all times for straightforward egress. A key-operated holdback function is also available where required, with this option requiring the inclusion of an internal cylinder. Its fully mechanical operation makes it a versatile choice for projects requiring dependable coded access without electrical installation.
