Tradco Carpenters Lock

The Tradco Carpenters Lock is a traditional cast iron rim lock designed for heritage-style doors, restoration projects and period homes where classic surface-mounted door hardware is required. With its simple rectangular case and authentic traditional appearance, this lock is well suited to older door styles, cottage interiors, utility rooms, sheds, workshops and character homes where a decorative yet practical lock is needed.

Available in Matt Black, the Carpenters Lock is offered in two sizes with left hand and right hand options to suit different door configurations. The larger size includes a 116mm backset with a 128mm high by 182mm wide case, while the smaller size includes a 93mm backset with a 120mm high by 150mm wide case. As the tongue is not reversible, the correct handing should be selected at the time of ordering.

The Carpenters Lock is supplied as a traditional low-security rim lock for the selected size and handing, with spare keys, spare box keepers, matching escutcheons and mortice knobs available separately where required.
